Building open Bitcoin infrastructure.

I'm a software engineer and open-source Bitcoin developer based in Lagos, Nigeria, going by Tobses or TChukwuleta online. Most of my recent work sits inside and around BTCPay Server — contributing to core, and building plugins that make it easier for merchants and developers to accept and use Bitcoin globally.

Outside of code, I care about growing the Bitcoin developer community in Lagos, Nigeria — I run BitDevs Lagos, a space for developers to learn, build on top of Bitcoin and its related protocols, and connect with each other.

Currently

Most of my time goes into BTCPay Server, contributing to core and building out plugins that make it easier for merchants and developers, to actually accept and use Bitcoin.

Alongside that, I'm working on SplitSats, a Bitcoin-native app for splitting shared expenses with friends and groups without needing a middleman to hold funds.

I'm also building a Bitcoin-backed micro-loan engine for microfinance institutions. It handles the parts an MFI shouldn't have to build themselves: custody of the BTC collateral, watching the loan-to-value ratio in real time, running margin calls when it drops, and producing a Bitcoin-native credit score from a borrower's on-chain and Lightning activity. The MFI still owns the loan and the relationship with the borrower; the engine just handles the mechanics underneath.
